Family Fun Event for children to adults presented by The Oakbrook Business Council of the Greater Summerville/Dorchester County Chamber of Commerce includes:

This year’s Chocolate Thing has been expanded to include food vendors specializing in anything chocolate, as well as standard festival delights. Local businesses will be on hand representing a wide variety of goods and services available in the Oakbrook Community. Demonstrations and live entertainment for young and old alike will be performed by local businesses and civic organizations.
“Nearly everyone loves chocolate, and we wanted to continue with that theme. However, with the rapid growth in the area, we felt it was time to include everyone from our area – not just businesses that specialize in chocolate,” says Monica Karam, President of the Oakbrook Business Council. “We hope that the additions will make this festival attractive to persons both in the Oakbrook area and outside of it.”
