Chinese Performing Artists of America (CPAA), CNetwork, and World Channel will present the full-scale extravaganza, Spring Festival Silicon Valley (SFSV) on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at Center for the Performing Arts in San Jose. SFSV will be the first full-scale gala in 2009 to celebrate the Chinese New Year, the most important and joyful festival of the Chinese heritage.

In Chinese culture, people in spring make plan for the coming year and hope for better lucks, a new opportunity, a new fortune, and all the good wishes. In the spirit of the Chinese New Year, we will present an up-beat variety show of music, dance, skid, chorus, Shaolin kung fu, and acrobatics to boost the morale of the audience. The performers are the top-notch artists of CPAA and some best talents from the Bay Area. We invite people of all walks of life, different cultural backgrounds, and all ages come to enjoy this gala celebration. We will have English subtitle for non-Chinese speaking audience.
