Spring Dog Parade & Festival May 4, 2008

Fetch a fiesta at “Cinco de Fido” - the 7th annual Dog Parade & Festival hosted by C-DOG. Enjoy a day of activities for dogs and their pet people.

Does your pooch have a sombrero? Look like a bandido? There will be a costume parade with prizes, piñata bashing, weenie bobbing, Frisbee toss, tricks, and much more. Demonstrations include a K-9 couture fashion show (with adoptable dogs), freestyle dancing, agility, Frisbee dogs, and Jack Russell racing. New this year will be a lure course for your pup to run and Bernese Mountain carting dogs. This year’s top raffle prizes will be a week long stay at a condo in the Sedona, Arizona (does not include airfare) or a bus trip to Carmel Beach for 10 people and their dogs (donated by Society Dog) that includes lunch and a private wine tasting. The silent auction has many exciting doggie items. And there will be lots of shopping with pet-related products and services.
