It's the Harrisburg Salsa Monster Mash, so get ready for a spooktacular salsa bash!

Prizes will be given for best costumes!!!

The Harrisburg Salsa & Rueda Casino Meetup is excited to bring you a Spooktacular Night of Salsa!

Trick or Treat? Well, here’s your treat!!!

JAVIER IS BACK!!!

For those of you who aren’t familiar, Javier is an awesome dancer, performer and instructor and he’s returning to teach an intermediate salsa class at Rookie’s Sports Bar & Grille on Saturday, October 30, 2010!!! This is a class you do not want to miss!!!

The intermediate workshop is intended for intermediate/advanced dancers and will be a fast-paced class with challenging turns. In order to benefit from the class you should already know the following moves:
* Cross-Body Lead
* Left turn & Right Turn
* Brake back (Or in Harrisburg "Back Brake")
* Inside lefts
* Copacabana
* Know simple turn combinations
* Know the basic open shines (Suzie Q, Side basic, etc).

We request that you come early to register as the class will begin promptly at 7:30 p.m. As a courtesy to the instructor and other members taking the class, if you are more than 10 minutes late, we kindly request that you do not interrupt the class as it will hold back those already participating in the class. Please come early to register! Please indicate in the RSVP section of our website at www.harrisburgsalsa.com if you will be taking the intermediate class so we can plan accordingly. Javier’s intermediate salsa class will be $12.00 per person.

We will also provide a beginner’s salsa class beginning at 7:30 p.m. off to the side during the intermediate class so our beginner’s can continue to practice their steps as well. There is no additional fee for the beginner’s class. It is included with the cover charge.

At 8:30 p.m. the floor opens up for dancing with music by DJ Vega!!!

You must be 21 to attend this event. This is a non-smoking event with a strict dress code. Absolutely no sneakers, no sunglasses, no hats, no flip flops and no work boots. With the exception of costumes for this event only.

*There is a $5 cover charge for members who RSVP at www.harrisburgsalsa.com for the event and $7 for non-members and those members who do not RSVP on the Meetup site.
