Spirit of The Flame Challenge February 27, 2009

Get a taste of the Olympics in your own backyard! Over the course of this three day competition, more than 700 of our nation's top female gymnasts will flip, fly, balance and tumble to spectator delight during Northern California's premier gymnastics competition. From tiny Level 4 gymnasts to mature Elite gymnasts, this event brings together some of the best gymnasts our nation has to offer for a brilliant display of athleticism.

More than 120 Level 9, 10 and Elite gymnasts will be on hand to exhibit extreme strength, flexibility, and agility. Three of West Valley Gymnastics' own top young gymnasts will bedazzle with their athleticism: two qualified for the 2009 National TOPS program and one qualified for the sport's compulsory pre-Elite program.

This event is once again hosted by West Valley Gymnastics of Campbell, California, the home of two-time Olympian, Amy Chow.
