On the heels of the release of his comedy album Keep On the Grass, Rob Cantrell is spending a hilarious evening with Comix on February 17th. You might have seen Rob as a cast member of the Marijuana-logues, or you might have even heard him talking about dancing with his “fronkies” (a half-frog, half-monkey creation) on season three of Last Comic Standing, but on this night, we’ll have Rob all to ourselves!

Rob’s oddball delivery and surprising skill at creating hip-hop songs with a Yamaha beat machine has given him the opportunity to do all sorts of fun things, like be a Celebrity Judge at the Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam, or become a contributing writer for High Times Magazine and various TV Shows. He has also appeared on CBS’s Late Late Show and Comedy Central’s Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, and produced a documentary comedy film Metaphysical Graffiti that showed at the Cannes Film Festival in 2005. Come for the beats, stay for the jokes.
