Speech, Language & Hearing Screenings May 18, 2010

Speech Pathology Associates and Providence Speech and Hearing will be offering free screenings for speech, language and hearing. Each child’s screening will take approximately 5-15 minutes and will be proctored by a Licensed Clinician with the state of California and certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Speech and Language Screening tests are conducted to identify health conditions that might need further assessment and are an important part of well-child health care. Speech and language screenings assess a child's ability in the areas of: Voice (tone, loudness), Articulation (pronouncing sounds), Fluency (stuttering) and Language (understanding and using words).
Cost: Free (museum admission not required and admission is not included as part of screening).
Screenings will be provided on a first come, first served basis.
