SPECTR – in a nutshell – a renegade artist mixing the influences that inspire his senses: comix vs. fashion vs. beats = elegance vs. adrenaline.

Even though he is a visual artist by trade, urban music culture has always played a vital role in his life and work. He is an official and original "junglist" working in and supporting the beginnings of Drum and Bass on the West Coast. As an artist he became known on the underground for his signature art installations; bright and elaborate layers of blacklight art hanging from warehouse ceilings – beautiful alien flowers intertwined with an array of strange futuristic characters, creatures and beautiful goddesses; a glowing 3-D mural floating in the sky. From Seattle to San Francisco and all the way down to Tijuana, the underground came to know and love his work. Many have also come to know his first clothing line DRUMZ. Founded during this period of heavy underground activity, DRUMZ continues to grow globally and is a respected entity among world-class drum headz and DJs like Craze, Goldie, and the Living Legends.

Along with designing art and clothes, Spectr also dabbles in the production side of things through his events entity SpectruMegaMedia – producing events like the legendary ART VS. JUNGLE series, and the HEAVY SOUND SEMINAR (held at the infamous WHISKY in Hollywood). This last year found him busy as ever working as a consultant to Las Vegas's first major Drum and Bass club and producing numerous art events including the infamous "under the bridge" loft parties and the notable "ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS CHAMPIONSHIP." His new limited editon label "SPECTR" (www.spectrbrand.com) is enjoyed and sought by artists and fashionistas alike, including Fergie (Black Eyed Peas) and pop singer Christina Milian.
