In conjunction with the Northern Illinois Quilt Fest, Midway Village Museum will present a special exhibit relating to quilts. This special exhibit features quilts from the 1880s up to the 1970s. Included are 1890s crazy quilts replete with velvet, silk and even wool, patchwork patterns from the 1880s to the 1920s, and a Kansas City Star quilt from the 1930s. Also on display will be a Bicentennial Quilt made by sixth grade students at Maude Johnson Elementary School in 1976.
