Special preview of Two Lovers February 14, 2009

The ICA's special preview of this intimate and unconventional romantic drama starring Joaquin Phoenix as a heartbroken young man who moves back in with his parents in Brooklyn after a relationship ends badly. Down and depressed, he slowly finds himself coming back to emotional life when he's forced to choose between the affections of family friend Vinessa Shaw and new neighbour Gwyneth Paltrow. Director James Gray is best known for thrillers such as The Yards and We Own the Night, but he handles this rich emotional piece with great sensitivity.
