SPECIAL OPEN HOUSE AT PENINSULA VOLUNTEERS ROSENER HOUSE
ADULT DAY SERVICES TO FOCUS ON ROLE OF MUSIC
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 20, 10:00 AM- 1:00 PM

"Promoting Wellness With Music" will be the featured presentation by Music Therapist Chance Sellinger, at a special Open House on Saturday, October 20, at Rosener House Adult Day Services, 500 Arbor Road, Menlo Park. Open House will be 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. with the presentation at 10:30. The event is designed to increase awareness of services to families and older adults with challenges such as post-stroke, Parkinson's, mild cognitive impairment or dementia.

Professional activity staff will lead a variety of activities---music, art, exercise, cooking, drum circle, brain games, therapies, and more. Social work staff will be available to answer questions, and caregivers will be on hand to tell how life is better for them and their family members who attend Rosener House. We encourage families to drop in to see what a typical day at Rosener House is like.
Rosener House will be celebrating 35 years of excellent care and service to the community. As the wife of a participant said, "I feel confident that my husband gets respectful, kind, and safe care with lots of opportunity for fun and laughter."
