You can register online at http://www.regonline.com/godoy

Having inherited the tango tradition from the great Argentine masters and a family that includes his sister - the famed Mora Godoy - he is recognized both in Argentina and worldwide as having been instrumental in the resurrection of this sensual dance. He has also contributed greatly to the renewed popularity of the Villa Urquiza style. Horacio and Cecilia travel extensively in Europe so it is a special treat for us to have them conduct workshops in Chicago. Don’t miss a rare opportunity to take lessons from these maestros of musicality and milonga.

Horacio is the founder and director the renowned tango school La Viruta in Buenos Aires. He and Cecilia are also leading instructors at the academy along with 5 other teaching couples. La Viruta hosts one of the most popular milongas in Buenos Aires and if it happens to be your lucky night, you will catch Horacio as the DJ. We are also honored to have him DJ the Saturday night milonga.

With a well respected music background as a graduate of the National Institute of Arts in Buenos Aires, Cecilia has over the years built a stellar reputation as a choreographer, performer and a member of the faculty at La Viruta.
