Special Independence Day Menu at 'The Square'. Taking forward the idea of presenting its guests with 'out-of-the-box' gastronomic experiences, the Chefs at the hotel have created a special 'Independence Day Menu' to honour the country's heroes- its soldiers. Going away from typical colour themes and names for the dishes, a lot of research has gone into putting together this menu which includes the favourite dishes of our Armed Forces from across India. The Independence Day menu will include :. Madras Meen Curry: A salute to the "Vir Madras", Madras Regiment, Indian Army. Samundri Khazana: A recipe from the archives of World War. Murgh Do Piaza: A sumptuous chicken preparation common in "Mahar Regiment" mess at Khardungla base camp, Ladakh. Saag Gight: A favourite on every Raising Day dinner in officers' messes across India. Kutri Gobi Mutter: From the mess of "The Sentinels of the East" Assam Rifles. Mili Juli Subjiyo ka mela: The choicest deck food from the INS Vikrant. Paneer pasanda: A tri-service favourite. Maa ki daal: No soldier can do without it. Tiranga biryani: It's all in the name- a staple for the soldiers.
