Special Independence Day Buffet at The Square. 'The Square'- the multi-cuisine, all-day dining restaurant at the Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach presents an 'Independence Buffet'. The buffet has been created specially by the Chefs at Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach and goes away from typical colour themes & names for the dishes. The Buffet will not only include regional specialties from across the country but also some sumptuous dishes that count as favourites amongst India's Armed Forces! To be available at lunch and dinner, guests can enjoy a taste of India at The Square from 14th to 16th August a unique menu in honour of India's 62nd Independence Day. Going away from typical colour themes and names for the dishes, a lot of research has gone into putting together this menu which includes the favourite dishes of our Armed Forces from across India. The Independence Day buffet will include: Madras Meen Curry: A salute to the "Vir Madras", Madras Regiment, Indian Army. Samundri Khazana: A recipe from the archives of World War I. Murgh Do Piaza: A sumptuous chicken preparation common in "Mahar Regiment" mess at Khardungla base camp, Ladakh. Saag Gight: A favourite on every Raising Day dinner in officers' messes across India. Kutri Gobi Mutter: From the mess of "The Sentinels of the East" Assam Rifles. Mili Juli Subjiyo ka mela: The choicest deck food from the INS Vikrant. Paneer pasanda: A tri-service favourite. Maa ki daal: No soldier can do without it. Tiranga biryani: It's all in the name- a staple for the soldiers.
