NOV 9 SPECIAL EVENT- THE MEDAL OF HONOR SERIES at Thorne Auditorium
The Congressional Medal of Honor is the highest award for valor in action against an enemy that can be bestowed upon an individual serving in the Armed Forces of the United States. The Chicago Humanities Festival, in association with the Pritzker Military Library's Medal of Honor Series with Ed Tracy, presents Medal of Honor recipients Michael Thornton and Thomas Norris as they recount their stories of individual bravery during the Vietnam War. The event begins at 6:00 p.m. and will be recorded for broadcast at Thorne Auditorium, Arthur Rubloff Building, Northwestern University Campus, 375 E.
