How can we put the “Golden” back into the Golden State? At both the city and state level, California faces mounting unemployment rates, dismal school performance and a massive budget deficit. Many say that San Francisco and California politics have become ineffective, unresponsive and unable to fix themselves. How can we restructure the relationship between state government and city and county governments to move California in the right direction? Join us in partnership with California Forward for a panel discussion and audience dialogue on how to get our state back on the right path. First we’ll present the issues with our panel, and then break into groups to discuss possible strategies over food, wine and refreshments. Join us for two hours in this intimate opportunity to engage directly in government reform.
