Keynote Speakers and Program

John K. Fink, MD; University of Michigan, SPF Medical Advisory and recipient of SPF Research Awards.Dr. Fink will share the latest research on HSP and PLS during a dynamic and interactive session.

Friday Night Welcome Dinner - June 12
Come join us on Friday night for dinner at the Renaissance St. Louis Hotel. Dinner is $35 per person. The dinner will begin at 7 p.m., cocktails (cash bar) will be available starting at 6 p.m.
2009 National Conference - Saturday, June13
Presentations and exhibitions will include the latest on HSP and PLS research, physical rehabilitation, spasticity management and treatment options and adaptive/assistive devices.
The conference fee is $55-65 per person, which includes the conference, handout materials and lunch. Check-in will begin at 8 a.m. with the conference starting at 9 a.m.
After the Conference, you can choose to join others for a Saturday dinner outing to a local restaurant or make your own evening plans. Information will be included in your conference packet.

Cancellations must be received 24 hours prior to arrival or one night room and tax will be assessed. Make your reservations by May 21 to obtain group rate.

Organized by Spastic Paraplegia Foundation
The SPF is the only organization dedicated to two groups of neurological disorders called Spastic Paraplegia (Hereditary and Apparently Sporadic)* and Primary Lateral Sclerosis (PLS).
The impetus for forming the Foundation was inspired by the accelerating pace of research. Dramatic breakthroughs have been made in the past decade, catapulting these conditions from being poorly understood to being on the threshold of significant treatment and cures.
The Spastic Paraplegia Foundation is a non-profit organization devoted to finding the causes and cures for these disorders and to providing information and support programs. In just five years, over 1.5 million dollars have been awarded in medical research grants.
