Spark Presents Nobel Nominee Sakena Yacoobi May 17, 2007

Spark is proud to announce the launch of its Members' Speakers Series with Nobel Peace Prize Nominee Sakena Yakoobi. Her organization, the Afghan Institute of Learning, is dedicated to bringing education opportunities to girls and women in Afghanistan. Her belief is that when women and girls are supported and nurtured, an entire society thrives.

This event is open to the public and free for members as part of Spark's girls' education theme this year. Proceeds will benefit the Afghan Institute of Learning.
