She's a beauty. She's a brain. She's a hero to the Chinese Dynasty and beginning April 14, she's taking charge at the SPARC Center. She is Disney's Mulan, Jr. Mulan is a young woman in feudal China. The Huns are threatening the empire. The Emperor is requiring one man from every family be constricted to the army. While Fa Zhou sleeps, Mulan grabs his warrior tools and sets off to take his place posing as a man. The show is a heartwarming celebration of culture, honor, and a fighting spirit while providing comic relief with Mulan's attempts at masculinity. Mulan Jr., the musical, is cast with a SPARC ensemble of Richmond's most talented young performers. April 14-17. Thursday-Saturday 7:30; Sat & Sunday 2:00pm
