South Street Halfway to St. Paddy's Bar Tour September 11, 2009

Break out your “Kiss Me, I’m Irish” t-shirt, and grab your kilt and bagpipes, because it’s time to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day once again. It might not be March just yet, but why wait another six months to celebrate the greatest party holiday of the year? Over 5,000 Irish loving partiers swarmed the Financial District for the South Street Irish Stroll back in March, painting the town green and toasting the luck of the Irish. It was such a great time that we couldn’t wait to do it again.

Lindy Promotions and Miller Lite are hosting what is sure to become the next great NYC tradition, the South Street Halfway to St. Paddy’s Bar Tour. On Saturday, September 12th participants can party and bar-hop at over a dozen great bars around South Street in the Financial District.

Participants will enjoy exclusive event specials including $2 Miller Lites, $3 Miller Chills and MGD 64s, and tons of amazing food and shot specials from 1-9pm. There will be great giveaways from Lindy Promotions and Miller, strolling bagpipers to get everyone in the Irish spirit, and the first 1,000 people receive a FREE souvenir cup.

Registration will be held at The Paris Café (119 South St.), across from the South Street Seaport, from 1-6pm where participants will receive their event wristband, souvenir cup, and map of participating bars. Tickets will be $10 for those donating two canned goods to City Harvest, and $15 without a donation.
