We start this 3-part series on Italy with the wines from the South. From dry southern terroirs to volcanic slopes, we will discover some of the most up-and-coming wines from southern Italy such as Primitivo (ancestor grape of Red Zinfandel), Salice Salentino, Greco di Tufo, Nero D’Avola, Costa d’Amalfi, Aglianico del vulture.
Wine Class followed by tasting of 9 wines and south Italian appetizers.
Each tasting can be purchased separately or as a series for 10% discount on total price. Buyers of the series will also receive as booklet on Italian wines (series is priced at $173 instead of $193 - $156 for members)
