South Dakota Avenue NE Corridor Transportation Study February 25, 2006

DDOT is conducting a transportation and streetscape study along South Dakota Avenue, from Hamilton Street to its terminus at Route 50/NY Avenue.

According to the consultant's website (Wilbur Smith & Associates), the study "will focus on comprehensive transportation enhancements and streetscape design to improve safety and the efficiency of movement for pedestrians, bicyclists, transit riders, and drivers along the corridor".

For anyone along South Dakota or nearby streets who is concerned about speeding, noise and traffic volumes, I hope you'll attend the first community meeting about this study. the
