Evanston's South Branch Library Celebrates 90 Years!
In celebration of the 90th anniversary of South Branch Library, patrons and staff are having a birthday party. Come see what 1000 cranes look like, and participate in the release of the 1000 Cranes for Peace to Hiroshima. Sign the giant birthday card and get a free mood pencil to take home. Delicious cupcakes will be available for all! The Birthday Open House takes place at South Branch, 949 Chicago Avenue, on Thursday, November 1, and on Saturday November 3, from Noon to 5 p.m. both days.
