South Bay Galleria Debuts the New Kids Club June 29, 2011

South Bay Galleria is introducing a morning Kids Club to better serve stay-at-home-moms, with enhanced healthy and educational programming designed for fun, too. The evening Kids Club will continue on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm, with the new Kids Club debuting Wednesday, June 29 at 10:30am. Kids Club meets on Level 3 in the Food Court.

The new program features a fun, healthy kids club that incorporates principles from the Healthways | Blue Zones Vitality City initiativea community-wide effort to improve health and well-being by making healthy choices the easy choice.

One of the exciting new additions to South Bay Galleria's Kids' Club is Roundhouse Aquarium, dedicated to teaching students and visitors about the oceans, marine life, and the environment. As new community partners help Kids Club spread educational, healthy and fun messages throughout the beach cities, Redondo Beach's SEA Lab -part of the LA Conservation Corps, invites kids to touch sea animals, make sea crafts, and learn about the ocean.

The first morning Kids Club, June 29th, is presented by AdventurePlex and will feature "Healthy Bodies Through Play." The summer schedule through August 31 features:

* Tues., July 5, 6:30pm Roundhouse Aquarium presents: Under the Sea.
* Weds, July 27, 10:30am Mime, Juggling & Laughs.
* Tues, August 2, 6:30pm Reptilian Friends: The Lizard Wizard.
* Weds, August 31, 10:30am the SEA Lab presents Hands-On with the SEA Lab.
