South Bay Craft Group Meeting & Demo (Artist Trading Cards) October 4, 2006

Calling all crafters! The South Bay Craft Group is meeting on Wed, October 4th at 6:30 PM, for our regular, monthly meeting at the Campbell Library (in the Community Room downstairs).

This month's demo will be on ATCs or Artist Trading Cards. These cards are miniature collages and can be traded with other people. We'll be using playing cards as a base and you can collage or decorate them however you like. Basic supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your own items, including glue, images to collage, glitter, paper scraps, stickers, or whatever else you want to use.

Started by members of Craftster.org, our group meets regularly to work on craft projects of all sorts, learn new crafts and techniques, swap craft supplies, share snacks, and just have fun.

We welcome any type of crafters, from embroidery to knitting, paper crafts to painting, jewelry to sewing, and more. We're a very mixed group and the environment is relaxed and laidback. No pressure, just a nice social group of crafters.
