South African Wines at the Embassy of South Africa October 23, 2008

Please consider joining GiraMondo Wine Adventures as we embark on an evening of food and wine tasting from South Africa.

• Early birds get a free class on the wine of South Africa at 6:30pm.


• General Admission will start at 7:15pm.

You will get an opportunity to taste 10 wines from the most interesting wine regions of South Africa such as Stellenbosch, Constantia, Swartland or Paarl. You will try chenin blanc, sauvignon blanc, chardonnay as well as shiraz, different meritage blends, and of course Pinotage, the signature grape of South Africa.

A buffet of South African appetizers will also be served. Welcome remarks will be given by a senior official from the South African Embassy.
