Sound Tribe Sector 9 is a Santa Cruz-based, five-piece electronic jam band fusing live instruments with electronica. Electronic Musician Magazine described STS9's music as "an eclectic stew of electro-acoustic pop, funk, drum 'n' bass, hip-hop, ambient, dub and more - integrates rhythm-section instruments with samplers, drum machines and soft synths."

The Lovin' Spoonful, inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000, has produced such beloved hits as 'Do You Believe in Magic?,' 'Daydream' and 'Nashville Cats.'
