Monthly liquid drum & bass night Soul:ution returns with another stellar lineup selected by Soul:r Records boss and Soul:ution resident Marcus Intalex. Special guests on the decks this month are Alix Perez and Ulterior Motive, plus Broke 'n £nglish and Estate Recordings' MC Strategy on vocals.

Alix Perez

Belgian born Alix Depauw is the face behind production stature Alix Perez, now regarded as one of the most groundbreaking and innovative producer-DJs of his generation. Shortly after his debut release, Alix saw himself catapulted to the forefront of the drum & bass scene carrying an ever growing reputation and sought after catalogue of music. With collaborations ranging from legendary soul vocalist Peven Everett to lyricists Foreign Beggars and more, Perez' work has garnered rave reviews in national press and industry bible Mixmag which has lead onto remixes for staple labels such as Ninja Tune for household names such as DJ Food and Hadouken.

Ulterior Motive

Fearlessly fusing raw elements of funk with precision percussion, the unmistakable Ulterior Motive remain sonically unrivalled and continue to set their own standards in 2012. Breakthrough releases for Subtitles, Metalheadz and Reinforced resonated deep within the underground to put their name on the map and remix requests from trance titans Above & Beyond plus Pete Tong’s legendary label FFRR have since followed.
