I defy you not to move, smile or feel your body temperature rise just a bit when you hear Souljazz Orchestra play. Their uplifting mixture of blaring horns, pounding percussion and screaming keyboards is ideal for coaxing would-be barflies from their swivel stools and onto the dance floor. As it also turns out, their motivating sound may also awaken the ardent activist in you.

Together since 2002, Ottawa's Souljazz Orchestra is a strange brew of jazz funk, Afrobeat and Latin sounds (to name a few).
