Fans of clear singing, sophisticated melodies and smart lyrics have flocked to award-winning vocalist Sony Holland since her arrival in San Francisco. Now she celebrates the release of her terrific new CD, Out of This World, with a concert at Yoshi’s.

The disc features 10 songbook classics like a swinging rendition of Old Devil Moon and the tenderest treatment of I’ve Got You Under My Skin ever. Even the three originals have the feel of classics. Ejazz news writes, “Holland is the most under rated lyricist/composer working in the jazz idiom.”
