Sonic Cathedral Presents... Broad Church August 25, 2010

Broad Church is a new Sonic Cathedral spin-off clubnight, which will take place at The Social, Little Portland Street, London W1 on the last Wednesday of each month. The first one takes place on August 25 and the guest DJ is Andrew Hung from Fuck Buttons.

As well as a slightly laboured pun, we'd like to say that Broad Church is some amazing new concept in entertainment, but it's not - it's purely and simply about good music. It uses Sonic Cathedral's shoegaze roots as a jumping off point into a world of psychedelic pop oddity, fearlessly exploring the scene that celebrates itself's influences and inspirations, and pretty much anything else too. Each month will feature weird and wonderful films and projections and either a guest DJ or a band who fit in with the general ethos - if it's out there, it's in there.

Doors to the Broad Church are open from 7pm until midnight. Entry is free before 9pm, after which a collection plate will be passed around. (We're still trying to convince The Social to offer communion wine and little bits of bread too.)
