Songwriter's Showcase Premieres In Zanesville February 27, 2010

The Ohio Songwriters Collective Ltd. is sponsoring a unique event, open to the public and to be held at the Muskingum County Conference & Welcome Center, on Saturday February 27, starting at 6:00 p.m. The event, entitled “A Whole Lotta Night Music!” will feature local songwriters performing their original music in a “cabaret” atmosphere. The event also features a pre-show cocktail hour, food & beverages (including locally-brewed ales and lagers from the Weasel Boy Brewing Co. of Zanesville). Artworks by Lipstick Studios of Zanesville will also be on display. Raffle drawings for great prizes will be held throughout the evening, the grand raflle prize being a fantastic "Weekend Getaway for Two" at the famous Stockport Mill Inn. Package includes accommodations for two in the Inn's luxurious room with hot tub, dinner at the Inn restaurant, two massage therapy sessions, chocolates, flowers and a continental breakfast! A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the many cancer outreach programs throughout Muskingum County. Tickets for the event are $10 per person (general seating). This songwriter’s showcase is the first event of its kind to be held in the Zanesville area, featuring five local artists performing their original compositions in an intimate theatre setting. Songwriters slated to perform are Matt Frampton, Craig Gossman, Buzz Fawcett, Kyle David Watts, and Coshocton native Evan Abood. Special guests include Twila Quinn, John and Hannah Mohr, Kenny Wayne, Jeff Miller, Michael McVicker, Casey Summers and David Joseph.
