Songwriter Sundays is devoted to the craft of songwriting on historic U Street in NW Washington, DC. Each week at Mocha Hut (1301 U Street, NW), Songwriter Sundays welcomes local and national writers to be a part of the Songwriter's Circle, with sign-up beginning at 6:30pm and performances beginning at 7pm.

Following the Songwriter's Circle, the resident writers and special guests perform. No, this is NOT an open-mic! This IS the evolution of song!! Come forth bearing Authentic Originality!!! All ages are welcome. There is no cover charge to attend. Love Offering Donations are encouraged.
