The 18th Street Singers take on the subject of love at the Kennedy Center, presenting a serenade of various languages, heritages, and eras. Selections on the program include works by classical giants such as Brahms and Beethoven, modern legends Eric Whitacre and Morten Lauridsen, British singer-songwriter Mika, and even a couple original compositions by members of the group. Led by music director Ben Olinsky, this premier group of young professionals claims roots in Adams Morgan and DC's other burgeoning young neighborhoods.
