Song and evensong July 13, 2008

To commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the death of Ralph Vaughan Williams, St Peter’s Church hosts a recital by Howard Wong, a baritone who is generally regarded as one of the finest song singers of his generation. The accompanist will be the Director of Music of St Peter’s, Philip Collin, and the programme will include some of Vaughan Williams’s best-loved songs plus some other gems from the English song repertoire.

The recital at 7.30pm follows Evensong, which begins at 6.30 pm and to which all are welcome.
