Somos Son at SOhO - Tonight! May 22, 2009

The group whose name translates, as "We are Son," brings the exciting dance rhythms of Cuba to Santa Barbara and the South Coast. They rock traditional Cuban Son dance music, as well as contemporary salsa. The band features Jose Elizarraraz and Hugo Macario on vocals and percussion, in addition to Raul Rico, Jr., on timbales; Karl Schiffmann on keyboards, Bayy Nitikman on trumpet and Malcolm Ian Peters on bass.
