"Some of My Parts" is a stage play chronicling on woman's journey from wide-eyed wonder to the wisdom of expansive aging, undertaken by six provocative, heartfelt and wickedly funny characters, ages nine to 75.

Setting out to redefine herself for the last chapter in an incredible life, Dari Lallou Mackenzie realized she had to look back in order to find the fortitude to move ahead.

Born into a commanding matriarchy, Dari’s characters include a Brahmin, DAR card carrying grandmother who collected 8 husbands; a laser tongued, Jewish mother who just may know a thing or two; and a guileless, little girl looking for the magic in a neighbor’s backyard.

Whether recounting sexcapades with European men, swearing off cosmetic surgery or mourning a taciturn father, Ms. Mackenzie’s rich and varied characters dare us to embrace our flawed and glorious humanity. She reminds us that it can take a lifetime to create a Masterpiece.
