As the sun goes down on Baltimores InnerHarbor, the museum will turn up the heat with Latin flare and flavor, live music by the internationally-acclaimed 18-piece band Jose Conde y Ola Fresca, and guests dressed to the nueves. Revelers will enjoy creative Latin American cuisine and signature cocktails on the waterfront promenade of the museum, as they show off their best rumba, mambo, and salsa moves to inventive Latin fusion music performed by the award-winning band. The museums exhibition halls will also be open during the celebration for guests to enjoy interactive entertainmentt Tickets for Solstice 2009: Puesta Del Solare $105 for members, $125 for non-members. Non-member guests will receive a three month mini-membership to the museum with ticket purchase. Dress is upscale-casual. Valet parking will be provided. Proceeds from Solstice 2009: Puesta Del Sol benefit the education and outreach programs of the MarylandScienceCenter.
