Here's more about us, Green Empowerment:
Over the last ten years, Green Empowerment has developed lasting partnerships in the Philippines, Burma, Thailand, Nicaragua, Ecuador, and Peru to install, operate, and maintain renewable energy, water delivery, and watershed restoration projects. We emphasize local leadership, community participation, and long-term economic and environmental sustainability. We assist with feasibility studies, technical training, project construction, commissioning, organizational planning, publicity and fundraising. We look to our local NGO partners and communities to determine their own priorities and goals. Overall, our collaborations empower access to regular supplies of clean water and irrigation, lighting, higher value agricultural products, health care and improved nutrition, expanded forest reserves, new small business enterprises, education, fuel efficient cooking stoves, and similar essentials of life.
