The EstroGenius Festival is the premier showcase for female creativity, offering a diverse array of short plays, solo shows, dance, visual art, performances by teens and music. Sola Voce is a miniature presentation of solo shows curated and produced by Cheryl King.

An exploration of disability, anger, and yearning from the perspective of a young man.

LITTLE GIRLS HAVE HEART ATTACKS – 1:45 – 2:25 pm

What traumas of childhood are carried into adulthood? In this multi-character piece, women and girls of varying ages look at the mental and physical prisons of their lives.

MIRRORS IN A WINDOW FRAME – 2:3o pm – 2:55 pm
Written by Dorothy Louise, directed by Sara Lampert Hoover and performed by Dee Pelletier
A woman spends her days looking out the window of her second-floor apartment, wondering about life on the street below, and speculating about its relationship to her own constrained circumstances.

Lily breaks all the rules while writing and living her country song “Sex with Your Ex”.

WONDER BREAD – 3:35 pm – 4:00 pm
Written & performed by Danusia Roberts
An autobiographical slice of life. At 18, Danusia travels from Poland to Valley Stream, New York for three weeks. The trip to the land of smiling strangers and year-round oranges is one she’ll never forget.

NON-DAIRY CREAMER – 4:05 pm – 4:25 pm
Written & performed by Carla Cantrelle
Non-Diary Creamer is the first piece in a longer work, FOOD FOR THOUGHT, which was “Pick of the Day” at the Edinburgh Festival and called “remarkably tasty entertainment” by Philadelphia Inquirer.

SO THE ARROW FLIES – 4:30 pm – 5:35 pm - $15

A North Korean spy. The Korean American FBI agent who catches her. Who will get hit first?
