When most people think of Nashville, they think of country music, but Nashville natives SOJORN possess an innovative style that is far beyond the realm of the Country Music Capitol. For many listeners the 1st thing that comes to mind when hearing SOJORN’s debut album is Summertime in the Islands. “Perfect Summer Grooving.” (DJ Magazine) “Ahh, it sounds like Sunset in Ibiza…” Their debut album features the beautiful dreamy vocals of Jennifer Morrison and the clever but simple songwriting and production by Hunter Williams. Hoping to spread soothing summer vibes SoJorn is releasing their debut album, “When The Lights Go Down,” in June, 2006 in the U.K, with remixes by Groove Junkies, The Moves, and other top notch producers. “When the Lights Go Down” is set to be released in the U.S. in late October.

In the winter of 2003, Hunter Williams constructed the studio of his dreams and embarking on the birth of a record that he had anticipated since early childhood. But what he lacked was a vocalist. Williams met Jennifer Morrison, in 2004 and it was at that moment that SOJORN was born. Morrison, originally discovered by Bob Jamieson, President of RCA in New York, was signed to RCA (Nashville) and went against the constricting country music standards and pursued her passion to go against all odds and become a genreless songstress. "I grew up listening to Motown, and that music's in my blood, that's what brought Hunter and I together." From the first recording session, Morrison's R&B feeling immediately provided the missing piece to the SOJORN puzzle.
