Soirée Carte Blanche October 12, 2007

To kick off the 2007-2008 cultural season L’Alliance Française de Washington DC and Planet Chic Productions, in partnership with Hillwood Estate, Museum and Gardens, will hold an electro-mix happy hour with an artistic twist, at Hillwood. Bring your iPod to participate in the mixing.

This happy hour event will include French video screenings and other artistic happenings. Guests will also be able to explore Hillwood’s gardens, including the elegant French Parterre, and visit the Mansion to see Hillwood’s fabulous eighteenth-century French art collection.

Light food and a cash bar will be available throughout the evening.

TRANSPORTATION:
Metro: Van Ness/UDC (red line) – a 20 minute walk
Drive: Hillwood has ample free parking
Shuttle: Get a free ride with the Carte Blanche shuttle departing from the Alliance Française de Washington DC (2142 Wyoming Avenue, NW) to Hillwood.
Departure at 6:00 pm and 6:30 pm in front of the Alliance Française.
After the party, our shuttle will drop off attendees at the Van Ness Metro station (Red Line).

General admission: $8 in advance, $10 at the door (MUST be 21 or older)
L’Alliance Française Members and Hillwood Friends: $6 in advance, $8 at the door.
