Soiree 10: A Decadent Celebration of Avant-Garde Culture

The San Francisco LGBT Community Center will hold its 10th Anniversary celebration-Soiree 10- a la mode francaise when the San Francisco Design Center Galleria becomes a decadent turn-of-the-last-century Parisian salon. Think peacock feathers, cloche hats, cigarette holders, Zelda Fitzgerald, Coco Chanel, flappers, the can-can and Moulin Rouge!

Kick off the evening with host and local comedian Marga Gomez as vintage tunes are spun on antique crank-up gramophones by blues chanteuse (turned DJ) Veronica Klaus, then dance to contemporary club hits from SF's hottest DJs Hard French, Stay Gold, Viennetta Discotheque and Some Thing.

Enjoy a cabaret of the creme de la creme of Paris' avant garde past and San Francisco's queer present, as Glamamore, Fauxnique, Honey Mahagoney and other performers from San Francisco's queer nightlife conjure the spirits of the fabulous and fantastical.

Bid on big prizes at our silent auction, featuring all-inclusive travel packages, restaurant and spa gift certificates, beautiful objets d'art, and dozens of other unique donated items.

Drink from a full bar of cocktails, beer, wine, and soft drinks available at three hosted stations, and mange a selection of savory and sweet hors d'oeuvres from more than a dozen of San Francisco's finest restaurants.

For our 10th Anniversary Celebration, we are Free to be Fabulous! Join us in celebrating 9,000 monthly visitors to the Center, 5,000 info and referral service users per year, 500 youth served annually, 900 clients in Economic Development programs, 75 program partnerships and collaborations, 500 LGBT referral connections and more!
