Explore different restaurants each month while getting to know other singles in the age group of your choice . . . so even if there's no love connection you'll still have a wonderful time. You'll order off the menu and receive separate checks for your purchases. Our website allows you to view the profiles of those registered for each dinner, tracks who you've dined with so you meet new people every time, and then let's you send a private message to those you've dined with afterward.

This week join us at Zola.

Management interweaves intrigue and fine cooking in this unusual restaurant-cum-spy museum, and the result will pique your interest. Visit the Spy City museum downstairs first and eat afterwards. Or just concentrate on the food, and forget spies and danger for awhile. All is sleek and hard-edged throughout, but the food has a gentling effect. We were won over by the smoky-sweet corn chowder with nibbles of applewood bacon at the bottom, the garlicky flatbread and fresh yeast rolls, and the unique sweet potato roll topped with a juicy just-rare hamburger. Even the condiments win kudos: a spicy chili sauce, the ubiquitous ketchup and a tarragon mustard. Desserts are child's play: Peanut butter trifle, cupcakes and milk, and 'smores fondue for two. But intrigue won't be far from mind since the walls are covered with various aspects of the spy game, from in-code murals to framed declassified documents hanging on the back walls. What better place than Washington for this kind of restaurant? - Gayot
