Increasing Internet Community Size....and revenue!

In the Social Networking industry, the two sectors that show the largest potential for revenue are: (1) Enterprise Social Networking (also known as Business Social Networking) and (2) Mobile Social Networking. Both are exciting spaces to watch, with the industry being re-invented with each new teechnology being introduced to the market.

Enterprise Social Networking: Intracorporate Networking has grown significantly over the last 3 years. Many desktop software companies are embedding social networking for enterprise applications. As a way to increase productivity, idea sharing and increased business performance, enterprise social networking has found its way in the workplace as a collaboration tool.

Mobile: Many experts in the industry agree that mobile usage of the internet will eclipse computers and laptop usage. For the social networking industry, this technology represents the road to the future. Mobile social networking is strongest in Europe and is growing significantly in the Far East. Some Mobile based carriers in North American have changed their business philosophies with third party solutions, paving the way to more European based business models. This event will cover the new technologies and business models for Social Networking.

Business Social Networking: It was clear to our organization four years ago that Business Social Networking will fiscally outperform all other social networking markets. With some popular sites charging a USD $200 per month membership fee, many more business executives have signed up without hesitation. Four years ago, the market consisted of about a half dozen Enterprise Social Networking websites. Over the last year, the number of websites has grown exponentially. Clearly, the market is starting to mature, and so we will have Enterprise Social Networking covered at the San Francisco event.

The annual Mobile and Enterprise Social Networking event will take place in San Francisco on Thursday and Friday, July 10-11, 2008. It is for social networking executives that have an interest in learning about new technologies, business social networking, marketing strategies, business management, venture capital, networks and mobile telecom . For example, we plan on having a 90 minute workshop covering business models for mobile. Also, we will have a workshop on how to plan and implement a business social network. Another session will be the latest mobile devices available to the social networking marketplace: which types of software (ex: WAP, JAVA) to use, as well as content distribution. We will also cover both the enterprise social networking as well as the mobile social networking market in specific regions and countries as well.

The event also draws significant the attention from the Venture Capital Industry. Some of the top venture capitalists will be speaking at this event and many others are atttending.

Similar to the Miami event in January, this two day Enterprise and Mobile Social Networking Conference will consist of morning seminars and lectures, followed by afternoon workshops. The workshops will consist of a series of 90 minute intensive lectures that are designed to improve mobile and enterprise business performance. Presentations will focus on current and future technology, marketing strategies, payment systems, wireless networks and carriers, software and management issues. Social networking industry executives, marketing representatives, mobile technology executives, venture capitalists, telecommunication executives, affiliates and affiliate managers all stand to learn a great deal in these workshops and are welcome to interject their questions at anytime. Significant time will exist for networking as well.

Exhibitors will also be present and all are urged to meet these companies in person to network and build relationships. We also expect many mobile telecommunication executives to attend the event as well.
