The Social Gaming Summit is a one day conference focused on the intersection of casual gaming, immersive worlds, and social networking. We had to boost the walk-in price because processing walk-ins is a real challenge for a conference - I want everyone to have a real badge, meal, etc and it's hard to run an event that starts on time if you have to process a large volume of walk-ins. Save yourself some $$$ and register in advance!
