Social Enterprise in Progressive Organizations December 15, 2010

This special seminar, hosted by SALSA and ChangeMatters, will explore social enterprise as a revenue model for organizations focused on progressive causes and social change.

Discussion and materials will:

-- Present working examples of social ventures and hybrid enterprise models

-- Consider the basic benefits and risks of social enterprise, particularly through earned revenue perspectives;

-- Demystify options for corporate and legal structures;

-- Share impact for social ventures and social innovation on scaling and sustaining community change activity for organizations

This workshop will be geared primarily for Executive Directors, senior staff, and board members in progressive, social change organizations. Social entrepreneurs interested in starting new efforts encouraged to attend!
