Social Concern August 20, 2006

Social Concern was formed in May, 2003. After a rough start, personally and musically, we began playing shows and recorded a 7 track demo in January, 2004. Since then, we've played many shows in Northern California and have ventured up to Oregon.




Our newest release is California Angel. There were a lot of technical difficulties with the studio and pressing company but we were finally able to release it in November of 2005. Check it out and be prepared for a socially charged, dark, alternative suckerpunch.




From the days of trying pin down some music, we have progressed to a strange combination of punk and grunge. The songs are usually social commentary or sappy political material, but we like to change it up a lot so it's never a gaurantee.
