22 BLENHEIM GARDENS (OFF BRIXTON HILL)
London, England

Back in April of last year some hooded young Kiwis stepped on British soil for the first time armed with synths and tunes. Since then they're stunned audiences across Europe with their all-action indiesynth shows and Transgressive released four seven-inch singles by them on the same day.
We're super proud to announce that they're coming back to the Windmill for a farewell party before they go back south for a few months. This is going to be a killer!

SO SO MODERN (New Zealand)
One definitely NOT TO MISS, especially as they're going down under to breed more synths or something before they return in summer. they caused a stir last year when Tranbsgressive released an EP in the form of four 7-inchers but most importantly, So So Modern are a jawdroppingly good live band. We'll let the journalists tell you why:
A bit like Futureheads playing Chic songs, at double-speed, with utterly nutzoid bits ... and performing them like B-boy cyber men - NME
A high velocity artrock punk-funk four-piece with ... the imagination of Foals, the attitude of Devo, the complexity of Liars, the dancing IQ of Daft Punk and the insane energy of Polysics and with four keyboards on stage, vocoder, guitars, drums. - Artrocker

LAKES (Kent)
Infectious punky grungers with releases on Signature Tune and Scaredy Cat records.
Lakes dip their toes into the experimental waters of post rock whilst keeping one foot firmly on the solid and more rugged terrain where their roots lay, creating sounds akin to Bear vs Shark and Part Chimp – Subba-cultcha

THE SNEAKS (New Zealand)
Out-there pop with splashes of surf, keyboards, handclaps and lots of fun. The latest in a train of fine Kiwi bands to decamp to the capital.
