SNOW ANGELS is heartbreaking. David Gordon Green (UNDERTOW, ALL THE REAL GIRLS, GEORGE WASHINGTON) takes us into the communal love, pain and desperation of a cold winter in a small town. Annie (Kate Beckinsale) is struggling to pay the rent and raise her young daughter alone, while her ex-husband Glenn (Sam Rockwell) is drowning his sorrows with liquor. Meanwhile the high school marching band aspires to a perfect formation on the football field and Arthur (Michael Angarano), to a first kiss from the perfect girl, before the ice melts on the lake.
